There will be a Public Hearing of the City Council on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 5:30
p.m. at the Nederland City Hall, 207 12th Street, Nederland, Texas for the purpose of
receiving comments concerning proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance.
1. CALL THE PUBLIC HEARING MEETING TO ORDER
2. AMENDMENT REQUEST
• To hear and discuss the request for amending Section 12.2 -"Schedule of
residential height and area regulation table" increasing the R-2 Duplex
minimum lot width.
• To hear and discuss amending Section 11 .2. -"Regulations applicable to
all zoning districts" adding & regulating Cargo/Storage/Shipping
Containers.
• To hear and discuss amending Section 30 -"Definitions" adding and
defining Cargo/Storage/Shipping Containers.
