NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Parks Advisory Board to be held on Tuesday, January 14,
2014 at 12 p.m. at the City of Nederland Recreation Center, 2301 Ave H., Nederland, Texas for the
purpose of considering the following agenda items.
1. U CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
2. UAPPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
3. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION:
a. Discussion of 6th Annual Christmas on the Avenue event.
b. Discussion of 2014 park programs and projects.
c. Discussion/possible action regarding a request from First Baptist Church Nederland to
host the Annual Easter Festival at Doornbos Park on April 19, 2014.
d. Discussion/possible action regarding a request from Paige Batchelor to use the
Recreation Center for a dance pageant in spring 2014 at the Nederland Recreation
Center.
e. Discussion of request from Doug Underwood for a movie in the park.
