Nederland Parks Advisory Board Agenda
NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Parks Advisory Board to be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014
at 12 p.m. at the City of Nederland Recreation Center, 2301 Ave H., Nederland, Texas for the purpose of
considering the following agenda items.
1. U CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
2. UAPPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
3. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION:
a. Discussion/possible action regarding a request from Keith Barrow to host soccer camps
for children for Summer 2014 at Doornbos Park.
b. Discussion/possible action regarding a request from Keith Barrow to host a 6 Aside
Soccer league for children for Summer 2014 at Doornbos Park.
c. Discussion/possible action regarding a request for usage of the Nederland Swimming
Pool for Central and C.O. Wilson Middle School end of year parties.
d. Discussion of progress of program planning for Summer 2014 at the Nederland
Swimming Pool.
e. Discussion regarding open space adjacent to City Hall (207 North 12th Street).
4. COMMUNICATION:
Parks & Recreation Director’s Report:
a. Report regarding researching usage of parks facilities for private instruction.
b. Report on the progress of the 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza.
