NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to be held on
Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. at the City of Nederland D. Bob Henson Office
Building, 1903 Atlanta Avenue, Nederland, Texas for the purpose of considering the
following agenda items.
CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
2. APPROVE THE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
3. VARIANCES
a. To consider approving a request from Wanda Kay Lawson, property owner
of 3412 Avenue C, described as Lot 14, Block 2 of Airport 1 Addition for a
variance to Section 12.2 of the City Zoning Ordinance for the encroachment
of nine (9) ft. into the twenty (20) ft. minimum front yard building setback
for the construction of a new home.
b. To consider approving a request from the proposed tenant of 3220 Nederland
Avenue, described as Lots 24 and 25, Block 10, Youmans 3 Addition
for a variance to Section 12.2 of the City Zoning Ordinance which requires a
one thousand (1,000) sq. ft. minimum main building. The request is to move
in a 12.3ft by 30ft, 360sq. ft. pre-engineered, building to use as a seasonal,
boiled crawfish, to -go business.
