The special meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m_ by Mayor R. A_ Nugent at the
Nederland City Office Building, 207 N. 12— Street, Nederland, Texas_ See attached for
quorum.
The following statement was posted:
"PURSUANT TO SECTION 30.07, PENAL CODE (TRESPASS BY LICENSE HOLDER
WITH AN OPENLY CARRIED MANDGUN), A PERSON LICENSED UNDER
SUBCHAPTER H, CHAPTER 411, GOVERNMENT CODE i[MANDGUN LICENSING
LAWS, MAY NOT ENTER THIS PROPERTY WITH A HANDGUN THAT IS CARRIED
OPENLY."
M. REGULAR AGENDA:
a. A motion was made by Councilmember Neal and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem
Albanese to swear in the Mayor and Cou ncilmem bars from Ward II and Ward IV_
MOTION CARRIED.
Ayes: Mayor Nugent, Cou ncilmem bar Austin, Neal, Albanese, and Belaire.
Noes: None_
Gay Ferguson, City Clerk, administered the Oath of Office to R_ A. "wick" Nugent,
Mayor; Billy Neal, Cou ncilmember Ward II; and Craig J_ Belaire, Cou ncilmember
Ward IV_
b_ A motion was made by Cou ncilmember Neal and seconded by Cou ncilmember
Belaire to keep Mayor Pro Tem Albanese as Mayor Pro Tempore in accordance with
Section 3.06 of the City Charter_ MOTION CARRIED.
Ayes: Mayor Nugent, Cou ncilmembers Austin, Neal, Albanese, and Belaire.

There being no Further business a motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Albanese and
seconded by Cou ncilmember Austin to adjourn the meeting at 2:04 p.m. MOTION
