The workshop was called to order at 8:20 a_m_ by Mayor R_ A. Nugent at the Marion
and Ed Hughes Public Library, 2712 Nederland Avenue, Nederland, Texas. See
attached for quorum_
PROPOSED BUDGET
Chris E>uque, City Manager, stated that each department will present their
accomplishments, goals, and future needs to the Council relative to budgeting_
Following each presentation, Mr_ O-uque reviewed the proposed 2016-2017 budget for
that department_ The schedule was as follows:

A discussion was held after each department presentation
The meeting was recessed at 11:57 a -m_; Mayor Nugent resumed the meeting at 1-00
p_m. Mr_ Duque continued to discuss various items affecting the proposed FY 2016-
2017 budget.
