The workshop was called to order at 8:15 a.m. by Mayor R. A. Nugent at the Nederland
City Office Building, 207 N. 12« Street, Nederland, Texas. See attached for quorum.

Chris C>uque, City Manager, stated that each department will present their
accomplishments, goals, and future needs to the Council relative to budgeting.
Following each presentation, Mr. Duque reviewed the proposed 2017-2018 budget for
that department. The schedule was as follows:
Finance / Utility Billing 8:20 a.m. to 8:33 a.m.
Personnel / Civil Service 8:34 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
Break 8:45 a.m. to 8:57 a.m.
Police department 8:57 a.m. to 9:32 a.m.
Fire Department 9:33 a.m. to 10:02 a.m.
Inspections 10:03 a.m. to 10:25 a.m.
Parks and Recreation 10:26 a.m. to 10:39 a.m.
Library 10:48 a.m. to 11:04 a.m.
I.T. department 11:0S a.m. to Y1:Y2 a.m.
Public Works 1Y:13 p.m. to 11:55 a.m.
City Manager/Budget Highlights 12:57 p.m. to 1:44 p.m.
A discussion was held after each department presentation.
