8:30 a.m. September 22, 2017
1. MEETING
The emergency meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. by Mayor R. A. Nugent at
the Nederland Gity Office Building, 207 N. 12.. Street, Nederland, Texas. See attached
for quorum.
The following statement was posted:
"PURSUANT TO SECTION 30.07, PENAL CODE (TRESPASS E Y LICENSE HOLDER
WITH AN OPENLY CARRIED HANUGUN), A PERSON LICENSED UNDER
SUBCHAPTER H, CHAPTER 411, GOVERNMENT CODE CHANOGUN LICENSING
LAWS, MAY NOT ENTER THIS PROPERTY WITH A HANDGUN THAT IS CARRIED
OPENLY."
2. A motion was made by Cou nci l member Belaire and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem
Albanese to approve an amendment to the debris removal services agreement with
S RC Emergency Services, LLC to establish debris processing and transportation rates
for use of the Hurricane Harvey temporary debris site by the city. MOTION CARRIED.
Ayes: Mayor Nugent, Gouncilmembers Neal, Albanese, and Belaire_
N oes: None.
Absent: Cou ncilmember Austin.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Mayor Nugent announced the executive session was not needed.
4. ADJOURN
There being no further business a motion was made by Mayor Nugent and seconded
by Mayor Pro Tem Albanese to adjourn the meeting at 8:43 a.m. MOTION CARRIED.
