1. MEETING
The emergency meeting was called to order at 11:04 a.m. by Mayor Albanese at the
Nederland City Office Building, 207 N. Street, Nederland, Texas. See attached for
quorum.
This meeting was closed to in-person attendance by the public. A temporary
suspension of the Open Meetings Act to allow telephone or videoconference public
meetings has been granted by Governor Abbott. Telephonic and videoconferencing
capabilities were utilized to allow individuals to address the City Council.
The following statement was posted:
"PURSUANT TO SECTION 30.07, PENAL CODE (TRESPASS BY LICENSE HOLDER
WITH AN OPENLY CARRIED HANDGUN), A PERSON LICENSED UNDER
SUBCHAPTER H, CHAPTER 411, GOVERNMENT CODE (HANDGUN LICENSING
LAW), MAY NOT ENTER THIS PROPERTY WITH A HANDGUN THAT IS CARRIED
OPENLY_"
2_ A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Neal and seconded by Councilmember Root to
approve an Emergency CON/IO-19 Paid Leave Policy. MOTION CARRIED.
Ayes: Mayor Albanese, Councilmembers Neal, Hollie r, and Root.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmember Austin.
Z. ADJOURN
There being no further business a motion was made by Councilmember Hollier and
seconded by Councilmember Root to adjourn the meeting at 11:08 a_m. MOTION
