1_ MEETING
The workshop was called to order at 8:31 a.m. by Mayor Albanese at the Nederland
City Hall, 207 N. 12.^ Street, Nederland, Texas. See attached for quorum.
This meeting was be closed to in-person attendance by the public. A temporary
suspension of the Open Meetings Act to allow telephone or videoconference public
meeting has been granted by Governor Abbott. Telephonic and videoconferencing
capabilities will be utilized to allow individuals to address the City Council. Members of
the public are entitled to participate remotely via Zoom Teleconferencing. Citizens may
join the Zoom Meeting by logging on at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83001198973.
They may also join by calling Toll Free (888) 475-4499 or(877) 853-5257 and entering
Webinar IID: 830 0119 8973.

Chris Duque, City Manager, stated that each department will present their
accomplishments, goals, and future needs to the Council relative to budgeting.
Following each presentation Mr. Duque reviewed the proposed 2020-2021 budget for
that department. The schedule was as follows:
Finance/Utility Billing 8:33 a.m. to 9:04 a.m.
Personnel / Civil Service 9:04 a.m. to 9:18 a.m.
Police Department 9:18 a.m. to 9:43 a.m.
Fire department 9:44 a.m. to 10:13 a.m.
Break 10:13 a.m. to 10:23 a.m.
Inspection Department 10:23 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.
Parks 8.. Recreation 10:41 a.m. to 10:58 a.m.
Library 10:58 a.m. to 11:13 a.m.
IT 11:13 a.m. to 11:31 a.m.
Public Works 11:31 a.m. to 12:16 p.m.
Lunch Break 12:16 a.m. to 12:53 p.m.
City Manager/Other Funds 12:53 a.m. to 2:58 p.m.
A discussion was held after each department presentation.
