1_ MEETING
The workshop was called to order at 8:33 a.m. by Mayor Don Albanese at the Marion
and Ed Hughes Public Library, 2712 Nederland Avenue, Nederland, Texas. See
attached for quorum.
2_ PRO POS EU IJOG ET
Chris Duque, City Manager, stated that each department will present their
accomplishments, goals, and future needs to the Council relative to budgeting.
Following each presentation, Mr. Duque reviewed the proposed 2021-2022 budget for
that department. The schedule was as follows:
Finance/Utility Billing 8.35 a.m. to 8.56 a.m.
Human Resources 8:57 a.m. to 9:19 a.m.
Police Department 9:20 a.m. to 10:01 a.m.
Fire Department 10:02 a.m. to 10:43 a.m.
Inspections Department 10:44 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.
Parks Department 11:11 a.m. to 11:31 a.m.
Library Department 11:32 a.m. to 11:42 a.m.
I. T. Department 11:43 a.m. to 11:52 a.m.
Public Works 11:53 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
City Manager/Other Funds Y:17 p.m. to 2:23 p.m.
A discussion was held after each department presentation.

There being no further discussion the Workshop was adjourned at 2:24 p.m. by Mayor
