NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Parks Advisory Board to be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at
12 p.m. at the City of Nederland Recreation Center, 2301 Ave H., Nederland, Texas for the purpose of
considering the following agenda items.
1. U CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
2. UAPPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
3. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION:
a. Discussion/possible action regarding reimbursement stipulations for utility usage for
Youth Sports.
b. Discussion/possible action regarding a request from A.S.K. for the usage of the gym for
Basketball.
c. Discussion/possible action regarding a Softball Field Usage and Rental Policy.
d. Discussion/possible action regarding usage of the building for Twirl America.
e. Discussion/possible action regarding a Bench/Park Equipment Sponsorship policy.
4. REPORTS:
a. Report on “Light of the Sky on the 4th of July” Fireworks show.
b. Report on the Dodgeball Tournament on June 23, 2012.
c. Report on the status for “Summer in the City” June 9, 2012.
d. Report on the status of a donation from the Nederland Heritage Festival for banners.
