NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Parks Advisory Board to be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at
12 p.m. at the City of Nederland Recreation Center, 2301 Ave H., Nederland, Texas for the purpose of
considering the following agenda items.
1. U CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
2. UAPPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
3. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION:
a. Discussion of park repairs and improvements for Rienstra Park.
b. Discussion of July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza 2013.
c. Discussion/possible action regarding a request for use from Brian English for a high
school basketball league and tournament.
d. Discussion/possible action regarding a request for usage for ASK from Basketball on
August 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31.
4. COMMUNICATION:
a. Art in the Park 2013 April 13, 2013 from 10am to 3pm at Doornbos Park.
b. Open registration for pool parties and lessons for the Nederland Swimming Pool.
