07-10-2023 AgendaNEDERLAND CITY COUNCIL AGENDA NOTICE is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Nederland City Council to be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, 4:30 p.m., at the Nederland City Hall, 207 North 12th Street, Nederland, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. The City Council reserves the right to retire into Executive Session concerning any of the agenda items whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified pursuant to Texas Government Code, Chapter 551. Members of the public can participate remotely via Zoom Teleconferencing. Citizens may join the Zoom Meeting by clicking on the Virtual Council Meeting https link on the City of Nederland’s website or calling the Zoom Call in Number and entering the Meeting ID# on the City of Nederland’s website. 1. Minutes – June 26, 2023 regular meeting 4. REGULAR AGENDA a. Consider action approving a Proclamation recognizing “National Parks and Recreation Month.” b. Consider action amending the Minutes of the November 14, 2022 City Council meeting. c. Consider action approving an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Nederland and the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission for Planning, Development, Operation and Provision of 9-1-1 Service and the Use of 9-1-1 Funds. d. Consider action appointing an auditing firm to perform the City’s audit for the fiscal year 2022-2023. e. Consider action approving an Agreement with Motorola Solutions related to body worn and mobile video recording cameras. f. Consider action approving Ordinance No. 2023-16, amending the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget. g. Consider action authorizing the purchase of a truck for the Information Technology Department. h. Consider action awarding bid for the Seattle Avenue and 27th Street Storm Sewer Improvements project. i. Discussion regarding the request for City garbage service in the Pirates Cove subdivision.
