1. MEETING
September 20, 2022
The meeting was held September 20, 2022, at the City of Nederland D. Bob
Henson Office Building, 1903 Atlanta Avenue, Nederland, Texas and was called
to order at 5:15 p.m. by Boyd Meier, Chairman.

Ron Minaldi and Mitch Macon
CITY STAFF PRESENT: George Wheeler, Chief Building Official and Beth
Merren, Inspections Department Secretary
OTHERS PRESENT: None
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Steve Gentile and seconded by Ricky Root to approve the
minutes of the April 5, 2022 meeting. All voted aye.
3. PROPERTIES
A. Property located at 715 14th Street, described as Lot 16, Block 11, Langham
Addition was brought before the board for the purpose of considering property
violations to Section 108 of the International Property Maintenance Code.
After a full discussion a motion was made by Ricky Root and seconded by
Mike Spell to recommend to City Council complete demolition of the
structure and clearing of the lot for the health and safety of the neighborhood.
All voted aye.

5. ADJOURN
There being no other business a motion was made by Steve Gentile and seconded
by David Knight to adjourn the meeting at 5:50 p.m. All voted aye.
