NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to be held on
Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the City of Nederland D. Bob Henson Office
Building, 1903 Atlanta Avenue, Nederland, Texas for the purpose of considering the
following agenda items.
1. CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
2. APPROVE THE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
3. VARIANCES
a. To consider the request for three variances from 407 S. 29th Street. Two (2)
from the City of Nederland Zoning Ordinance Section 12.3 "Schedule of
residential height and area regulations" and the third variance is to Section 10
"License to encroach on public right-of-ways".
b. To consider the request for two (2) variances from 1136 Kent Avenue. One
(1) to the City of Nederland Zoning Ordinance Section 18 "Fencing and
Screening" and the other request is to Section 12.3 "Schedule of residential
height and area regulations".
